It's my mommy's birthday! Happy birthday, Mom! This optimal US road trip map which hits landmarks in all of the Lower 48 (via Laughing Squid) reminds me of your tales of the cross-country drive you and Dad took when I was a baby, although of course I have little memory of the trip itself. I'm still jealous you traveled Route 66 in its heyday!
